Did you ever wonder...why the actual name of our Aerie is not simply Bedford #2122, but Bedford (Metropolitan) #2122? It's because we were the first Eagle Aerie in the suburban Cuyahoga County area and, rather than name ourselves after a city, the members at the time chose "Metropolitan" as our name.
Did you know...when our Aerie was first formed, the Club building was located in a house on Columbus Road in Bedford (where the Burger King is now)? They later built the "Old Club" building on the current Broadway Avenue property.
What's our number...Our Aerie was originally assigned to become Aerie #2121, but due to a delay in getting our paperwork to the Grand Aerie we became #2122 instead!
